
Recently, an art exhibition and award ceremony of the Academy of Arts of the Turkic World were held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. This was reported on the official website of TURKSOY.
The event, a continuation of the program held last year in Istanbul, brought together artists and cultural representatives from across the Turkic world. The program was attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Murat Huseynov, Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev, President of the Academy of Arts of the Turkic World Sakit Mammadov, and many other guests.
As part of the program, the President of the Academy of Arts of the Turkic World, Sakit Mammadov, presented the Gold Medal of the Academy to the Secretary General of TURKSOY, Sultan Raev. Artists participating in the exhibition were also awarded the Academy of Arts of the Turkic World medal for their contributions to promoting the cultural and artistic values of Turkic peoples. Among them is Amanmyrat Modyýew, a talented Turkmen artist with a deep interest in modern art movements.
Amanmyrat Modyýew was born on November 11, 1983, in the Babadaýhan district of the Ahal region. He currently teaches at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan. In 2022, A. Modyýew participated in and won a competition-exhibition among artists of Central Asia and Kazakhstan held in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the same year, the painter emerged as a winner of the "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" competition announced by the President of Turkmenistan.
It is worth noting that the art exhibition of the Academy of Arts of the Turkic World welcomed art lovers at the Turkic World Art Gallery from March 13 to 17, 2026.
