
On Tuesday, Turkey’s Trade Minister Omer Bolat announced at the opening of Turkey’s export goods exhibition in Ashgabat that the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Turkey reached 2.2 billion US dollars in 2025. This was reported on the Trade Minister’s social media on Tuesday.
The report notes that Turkey’s Trade Minister Omer Bolat and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyyev opened the 12th Turkey Export Goods Exhibition.
The minister emphasized that due to strengthened bilateral cooperation, economic and trade relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey have become more active and multi-faceted.
Omer Bolat noted that the main goal in bilateral trade is to reach the volume of 5 billion US dollars set by the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, and work in this direction continues.
The minister also reported that 87 pavilions of Turkish companies are represented at the exhibition in Ashgabat and expressed confidence that such active cooperation will further strengthen the economic relations of the two countries.
The Turkey Export Goods Exhibition, taking place today at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat, will continue until February 12.
