The first day of the "My White City Ashgabat-2026" international exhibition and conference, which commenced in our capital, yielded significant results for the country's economy and international relations. Relevant ministries and sectoral agencies of Turkmenistan signed a substantial package of documents with foreign partners, aimed at expanding infrastructural and investment cooperation.

A total of 11 international documents were signed, covering strategic sectors such as digital technologies, energy, heavy and chemical industries, as well as the large-scale development of the capital's urban infrastructure.

The core phase of the agreements is directed towards attracting the world's high-tech companies into the fuel-energy and communication sectors and establishing long-term relations. The key partnerships implemented within the framework of the conference include:

  • Innovative Information Systems: Representatives of the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Communication, and the Ministry of Finance and Economy signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Singapore’s world-renowned technology group, "Bitdeer Technologies Group".
  • Modernization of Industrial Infrastructure: A tripartite Memorandum was concluded for the overhauling and high-level technical maintenance of the "Garabogazkarbamid" plant. This agreement was signed by the "Turkmenhimiýa" State Concern, Turkey's "Çalık Enerji" company, and Japan's leading corporations, "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Asia Pacific" and "Mitsubishi Corporation Machinery".
  • Development of Energy Systems: The Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan defined the core terms and directions of future cooperation in a new agreement signed with Japan's "Muroosystems Corporation".
  • Cooperation in the Chemical Industry: The "Turkmenhimiýa" State Concern, for its part, outlined the path for mutually beneficial contracts with "Hong Kong Richie Sweet Co., Ltd" from the People's Republic of China.

These agreements will further expand the industrial potential of our country and open up major new opportunities for attracting foreign investment and cutting-edge digital technologies into our national economy.
