
The first phase of training for students and teachers, aimed at developing practical skills in protecting digital infrastructures, has been completed at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan. Organized with the support of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Centre in Ashgabat, this two-stage specialized training program aims to strengthen our country's national cyber resilience and improve digital hygiene.
This educational project has become a logical continuation of the strategic cooperation carried out within the framework of the Center of Excellence in Cybersecurity previously established at the institute. According to the organizers, these investments in training future specialists help to effectively combine academic theory with the real digital threats of the era and contribute to the creation of a secure digital space.
Phase One: Personal Cybersecurity and Digital Hygiene
During the practical sessions of the training, national experts thoroughly introduced the participants to methods of detecting widespread digital attacks. Within the framework of the training, the following main areas were covered:
Phase Two: Corporate Security System
This large-scale educational initiative will continue its course at the beginning of June. The second phase, which will start shortly, will be completely focused on implementing a corporate security approach.
In this phase, young developers and teachers will deepen their knowledge in behavioral risk analysis. They will also master internal technical operations to isolate targeted network attacks, and practically develop skills for rapid response to emerging vulnerabilities to prevent critical data of state and private information systems from being compromised.
