Turkmen school students won 6 medals at the "Copernicus" Olympiad held in Singapore
Turkmen school students performed for the first time at the international "Copernicus" mathematics Olympiad held in Singapore, demonstrating high results. Our country's representatives won a total of 6 medals: 1 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze.
The initial results of our young talents at this prestigious international competition were highly successful. Ayjeren Muhammetnazarova, a student of the "Belent Bilim" educational center in Mary city, performed excellently, winning a gold medal. Furthermore, she earned the title of "Absolute Winner" in her age group, receiving a "MacBook Air" computer as a special prize.
Silver medals were awarded to:
- Davut Muhammetnazarov — student of the "Belent Bilim" educational center (Mary city);
- Geldimyrat Saryyev — student of secondary school No. 135 in Ashgabat;
- Emirmuhammet Sabyrov — student of secondary school No. 35 in Hazar city (Balkan region).
Bronze medals were won by students from Ashgabat schools: Ahmet Bagtyyarov (secondary school No. 135) and Melike Begliyewa (secondary school No. 97).
The "Copernicus" Olympiad, an international intellectual platform, incorporates high standards to test students' mathematical knowledge, logical thinking, and ability to solve complex problems quickly. This achievement by Turkmen students proves that the talented youth of our country can distinguish themselves in world-class competitions.
