A Premium Approach to U.S. Entry

The US State Department is launching a pilot program aimed at reducing waiting times for visa interviews. From July 1 through December 31, 2026, applicants for business and tourist visas will have the option to pay an additional $750 fee to expedite their interview process. This service guarantees an interview appointment within 10 days of payment. This initiative, which operates in addition to the standard $185 visa fee, is intended to partially alleviate entry conditions amidst a broader tightening of US immigration policy.
