An Astonishing Collection: Indian Citizen Sets a World Record by Collecting 858 Paper Cups from 31 Countries

Sunil Joseph, a resident of India, has entered the Guinness World Records by collecting 858 paper cups from 31 countries around the world. This man started his collecting hobby back in his childhood, gathering stamps, coins, and matchbox labels. Later, he moved on to more unusual items—airline tickets, tea bags, and paper coffee containers.

Joseph had previously become a Guinness record holder thanks to his collection of telephone cards (nearly 6,000 specimens in 2014). Currently, his hobby is actively supported by his friends and relatives, who bring him paper cups from various countries.

According to the UPI publication, Joseph admitted that he does not plan to stop there and has already submitted an official application for a new record—the largest collection of wedding invitations.
