
A delegation from the Myrat Garryýew State Medical University of Turkmenistan conducted important negotiations on the digitalization of medical education during their visit to the city of Kazan, Russian Federation. Turkmen specialists met with the heads of "MedVision" and "EIDOS Medicine" companies, which hold leading positions in the world in the production of medical simulators, and thoroughly discussed the possibilities of delivering high-tech educational equipment to our country.
This active visit coincided with the VII Congress of the Association of Asian Universities and the "IFTE-2026" International Forum on Teacher Education organized in Kazan. During the international forum, Nabat Myratnazarowa, the Rector of the State Medical University of Turkmenistan, delivered a speech and presented evidence-based, concrete, and effective methods for integrating artificial intelligence, innovative digital platforms, and practical simulation technologies into the medical training system in our country.
At the same time, high-level meetings were held with Lenar Safin, the Rector of Kazan Federal University, and Professor A. Kalimullin, the Director of the Institute of Psychology and Education. During the meetings, the parties discussed developing special programs for upgrading the qualifications of clinical department instructors, as well as future opportunities for the joint production of modern educational equipment based on IT solutions.
Within the framework of the organized international event, the election of the new head of the Association of Asian Universities was also considered. With the unanimous support of the Council, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, the Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was elected to the position of the new head of this international association.
