Ahead of the new academic year, school markets have become more active in Turkmenistan. Specialized sales points offering school supplies have started operating in different regions of the country. This year, the number of school markets has reached 414.

The markets offer a wide range of goods needed by students, including school bags, notebooks, stationery, educational supplies, and other essential items. Products made by local manufacturers occupy a leading position at these markets.

According to the «MIR 24» news agency, preparing a child for the new school year in Turkmenistan requires an average expenditure of more than 400 manats. Traditionally, first-grade students receive state support — they are provided with free school bags containing a complete set of necessary educational supplies.

Kindergarten teacher Keyik Yazlyyeva also highlighted the importance of this support. According to her, her daughter will enter the first grade this year.

— The trade union organization of our kindergarten provides assistance to parents and employees whose children are starting school. They receive complete sets containing all the necessary school supplies, — Keyik Yazlyyeva said.

School markets organized before the beginning of the academic year provide parents with a convenient opportunity to equip their children with all the necessary educational materials.
