The national carrier Uzbekistan Airways has announced changes to its flight schedule for several Russian destinations. While air service remains operational, the frequency of flights to cities including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, and Khabarovsk will be reduced. The airline stated the decision is driven by a shortage and rising costs of aviation fuel. Passengers on cancelled flights are offered free rebooking to the nearest available flights or a full refund without penalties.
