A creative visit involving representatives of the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation (UTW RF) is being held in Ashgabat. The event is organized within the framework of the program supporting Russian theaters abroad, bringing together Russian and Turkmen theater professionals.

The main hub for the creative meetings was the A. S. Pushkin State Russian Drama Theatre. Here, several stage sketches are being prepared based on the famous cycle of works "Little Tragedies" by the prominent representative of Russian classical literature, Alexander Pushkin. These include "The Stone Guest," "The Miserly Knight," and "Mozart and Salieri."

Moscow director Grigory Artamonov is working on the stage sketch for "Mozart and Salieri." According to the director, holding the creative laboratory in a short timeframe required a high level of team concentration and quick decision-making.

The director specifically noted that the actors of the Ashgabat theater showed great interest in the creative process. During the five-day rehearsal period, the first day was dedicated to preparatory work and familiarization with the material. On the remaining days, the main concept of the stage production was developed.

Grigory Artamonov praised not only the acting skills of the Turkmen artists but also their musical talents. It was emphasized that the vocal abilities and hard work of the artists became clearly evident during the rehearsals. Musical performances are expected to become an important part of the new stage sketches.

The creative meeting went beyond stage work, also providing the theater professionals from Russia with an opportunity to closely experience the culture of Turkmenistan. The guests highly praised the architecture of Ashgabat, the traditions, national cuisine, and hospitality of the Turkmen people.

The Russian director expressed interest in returning to Turkmenistan in the future to become more thoroughly acquainted with the country's historical and cultural monuments and natural beauties.

The creative laboratory stands as one of the important projects aimed at exchanging experience and developing cultural ties between the theater workers of Russia and Turkmenistan.
