Days of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan to be Held in the Cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag

From June 5 to June 7 of this year, a large-scale international cultural event will be organized in Turkmenistan, within the framework of which the Days of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be held in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag. The program of these solemn events, aimed at raising the creative relations of the two friendly states to new heights, includes joint concerts, film screenings, thematic exhibitions, and scientific conferences.

The official opening of this cultural event will commence on June 5. On that day, the celebratory events will start at the "Ashgabat" cinema with the screening of Azerbaijani films; the movie "Taghiyev: Oil" will be presented to the audience at 10:00, and "A Dream of Paradise" at 13:00. Also on the same day at 15:00, the opening of the exhibition titled "The Pearl of Azerbaijan's National Heritage" will take place at the Museum of Fine Arts of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan. The solemn opening ceremony of the Days of Culture will be organized at 17:30 on the main stage of the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.

On June 6, the continuation of the cultural events will move to the city of Arkadag. Here, at the State Library of Arkadag city, a scientific conference dedicated to the literary heritage of Dovletmammet Azadi and Seyid Azim Shirvani will be held with the participation of the scientific communities of the two countries. On the same day at 16:00, a photo exhibition titled "Azerbaijan — From Lens to History" will open at the city museum, and at 18:00, a grand joint concert featuring culture and art figures from Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan will take place at the square of the Gorogly State Equestrian Circus.

On June 7, the concluding day of the event, a rich program awaits the audience as well. The most successful works of classical and modern cinematography will be shown at the "Ashgabat" cinema: a mass screening of the famous film "Arshin Mal Alan" will take place at 10:00, followed by the feature film "Native Land" at 13:00. The three-day celebrations of friendship will culminate at 19:00 at the Mukam Palace with the closing ceremony of the Days of Culture and a joint gala concert.
