World-renowned billionaire Elon Musk is planning to place artificial intelligence data centers in Earth's orbit, a move that experts interviewed by The Economist warn could trigger a planetary disaster.
According to Rambler.ru, citing The Economist, the world's richest businessman, Elon Musk, is developing an ambitious program to deploy his artificial intelligence (AI) data processing centers directly into Earth's orbit.
However, experts consulted by the publication have expressed severe concerns, warning that this unprecedented step could lead to catastrophic consequences for our planet.
For his part, Musk asserts that AI and robotics will soon shoulder the vast majority of intellectual and physical tasks. Integrating his AI enterprise with SpaceX will allegedly pave the way for systems capable of tackling complex computational problems like advanced programming, while his Tesla venture focuses intensely on humanoid robot production.
According to Musk's bold forecasts, AI systems will surpass human intelligence in just five years. Furthermore, within a decade, the widespread robotization of the workforce will usher humanity into an era of unprecedented abundance where traditional currency may lose its meaning.
