
Georgian Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze met with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bahar Seyidova to discuss ways to further develop cultural relations between the two countries.
According to the Georgian Ministry of Culture, the main purpose of the meeting was to expand bilateral cooperation in the fields of creativity and cultural heritage.
Documentary Cooperation. The parties paid special attention to the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) between the ministries of culture and key cultural institutions of the two countries. These documents will facilitate important future steps in the following areas:
Cultural Days and Youth Policy. As part of the Turkmen delegation's official visit to Georgia, the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan are also being held. Georgian Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze noted that the talks were highly productive and emphasized the importance of ties between youth. The Minister highlighted the need to create new opportunities for implementing joint youth projects in the coming years.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Giorgi Mirtskhulawa, Head of the International Relations Department Zurab Bakuradze, and Chief Specialist of the department Giorgi Nadirashvili on the Georgian side.
