An important stage for young people has begun in the higher education institutions of our country — entrance exams for applicants. The exams will run from today until August 20.
Prior to this, documents from young people were accepted between July 13 and 26. The admission procedure for the new academic year pays special attention to transparency, public oversight, and attracting the most talented and capable youth to higher education institutions.
In accordance with the priority areas of state policy implemented under the leadership of the esteemed President, it is planned to admit more than 18,000 students to the country's higher education institutions this year. This figure indicates that the number of admission places has increased by nearly 1,200 compared to last year.
Based on the modern requirements of the national economy, 20 new professions and study tracks have been opened for the first time within specialized professions, bachelor's, and master's programs. This provides young people with broad opportunities to get an education in the most demanded fields of our time.
Additionally, the acceptance of documents for the country's secondary vocational education institutions (colleges) is ongoing and will continue until August 17.
