Last week, trading at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was highly active, with a total of 25 transactions registered.

Foreign businesspeople showed great interest in the products of Turkmenistan's petrochemical and textile industries:

  • Petroleum Products: Representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Georgia, and Uzbekistan purchased base oil produced at the enterprises of the "Türkmennebit" State Concern.
  • Textile and Agricultural Products: Entrepreneurs from countries including the UAE, Türkiye, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and Romania purchased the following:
    • Crude fatty acids of cotton soapstock;
    • Raw silk;
    • Plain-dyed and jacquard terry products;
    • Cotton yarn and fabric;
    • Cotton fiber.

The total value of transactions carried out in foreign currency exceeded 6 million 11 thousand US dollars.

These figures once again prove that the country's export potential is increasing and that there is a high demand for Turkmen products in the global market.
