Further development of trade and economic cooperation between the European Union and Turkmenistan was discussed during a meeting between representatives of the two sides.
At the meeting between EU Ambassador to Turkmenistan Beata Peksa and Turkmenistan’s Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Nazar Agahanov, the parties exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations and future opportunities. The information was reported by the Delegation of the European Union in Ashgabat.
The sides noted that cooperation between the European Union and Turkmenistan has been developing in a positive direction. Particular attention was paid to the importance of mutually beneficial cooperation in areas such as trade, economic development, and business relations.
During the talks, both sides confirmed their interest in further strengthening existing cooperation and creating new opportunities for partnership in the future.
It should be noted that Beata Peksa is completing her diplomatic mission as the Ambassador of the European Union to Turkmenistan.
