
Turkmenistan’s world-renowned national equestrian games group, "Galkynyş," will participate in the 8th Ethnosport Culture Festival to be held in Istanbul, Türkiye, from May 21 to 24 this year. The delegation of 25 people will be led by the Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan, Serdar Pygyýew.
This prestigious event, organized by the World Ethnosport Confederation, will take place at Istanbul's Atatürk Airport. According to the head of the Turkmen delegation, S. Pygyýew, the group is fully prepared to worthily showcase Akhal-Teke horses and the national heritage to the global community.

The "Galkynyş" group is one of the long-standing and highly anticipated participants of this festival. In the previous festival held in 2025, Turkmen riders became the main highlight of the event with their unique performances. That same year, the group also secured its global reputation by winning the top award at the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo.
Entrance to this cultural celebration in Istanbul will be free for all guests.
