Iran plans to take trade relations with regional countries to a new level

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Parliament of Iran will carry out joint work to facilitate interregional trade cooperation and strengthen economic diplomacy.

This was stated by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in a statement on his Telegram channel following a meeting with members of the parliament's Economy Group and the Committee on Economic Diplomacy.

During the meeting, Araghchi explained the diplomatic corps' measures and programs in the economic sphere and emphasized the ministry's readiness to cooperate closely with the parliament to implement the country's economic programs and develop international partnerships.

It is noted that the meeting discussed the most important issues of economic diplomacy, ways to develop trade cooperation and foreign investment, expand non-oil exports, and utilize the potential of interregional and economic diplomacy to support the national economy.
