
A practical seminar titled "Karakum Desert – A Land of Beauty," dedicated to promoting ecological culture and preserving desert biodiversity, was held at the Repetek State Biosphere Reserve. The event was organized with the participation of specialists from the Lebap regional branch of the Nature Protection Society of Turkmenistan, the regional children's library, the Turkmenabat Agro-Industrial Vocational School of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, and the Repetek Reserve.
Detailed information was provided about the ecosystem of the Karakum Desert, particularly Repetek, one of the first reserves established in the country. Key biological features of the desert include:
Participants explored valuable exhibits in the reserve's museum and a photo exhibition showcasing the desert's beauty. Speakers such as Gozel Kuliyeva, Merdan Jumayev, Maysa Berdiyeva, and Nartach Gurbanova emphasized the importance of nature conservation efforts during the spring season.

The primary goal of this event, held within the framework of the year "The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy," was to inspire a love for nature in the younger generation and explain the unique beauty and ecological significance of the Karakum Desert. At the conclusion, participants expressed gratitude to the leadership of the state for the opportunities provided for environmental protection.
