Throughout August, Turkmenistan will host a wide array of solemn events, exhibitions, conferences, and educational campaigns dedicated to the upcoming 35th anniversary of the country’s Independence. This was announced during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting by Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova, who reported on the extensive cultural program planned for the final month of summer. As part of the seasonal recreation program, various mass cultural activities, creative and intellectual competitions, sports tournaments, poetry readings, and traditional national game contests are planned specifically for children. At historical and cultural sanctuary complexes, open-air educational seminars will be organized to highlight the importance of studying material and cultural heritage. Additionally, the Kopetdag State Nature Reserve will host a specialized forum titled "Natural Beauties of Kopetdag." The cultural agenda also features the concluding regional stages of the "Ýaňlan, Diýarym!" young amateur singers' television contest for the Lebap and Mary velayats, as well as the grand finale of the "Çalsana, bagşy!" creative contest. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure the highest level of preparation and organization for all events scheduled for August, as reported by the TDH state news agency.
