Learning Safety Rules is a Sacred Duty
On April 23, 2026, an important event—an advocacy and educational meeting titled "Civil Defense and Preparedness for Action in Emergency Situations"—was organized at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan (IIR). The event was attended by specialists from the Ashgabat City Civil Defense and Rescue Operations Directorate, as well as faculty and students of the institute.
Speakers at the meeting drew particular attention to the large-scale reforms implemented at the state level to develop a healthy and sophisticated society. Key perspectives focused on the following areas:
- Cultivating noble qualities such as courage, bravery, integrity, and diligence in the hearts of the younger generation.
- The importance of adhering to traditions and ethical standards inherited from ancestors while staying away from harmful habits.
- The necessity of proper conduct in public places and compliance with the law.
During the event, specialists explained practical rules for correct behavior in emergency situations. Detailed advice was provided on strictly following traffic regulations, fire safety prevention, and acting in accordance with civil defense standards during technogenic incidents.
The regular conduct of such awareness activities helps students become knowledgeable and prepared not only in their studies but also in various daily life situations.
At the conclusion of the advocacy meeting, participants expressed their gratitude to the Head of State for the vast opportunities provided to the youth to receive a modern education and explore the depths of science.
