During the first seven months of 2026, the Lebap Cement Plant produced 1,126,000 tons of cement, according to a report by the Turkmen Gundogary newspaper.
As noted in the publication, during the corresponding period of last year, production stood at 843,300 tons. This reflects a year-on-year increase of 282,700 tons, or 33.5%. The surge in cement output underscores the steady expansion of the raw material base supporting Turkmenistan's growing construction sector.
The facility, which previously operated with an annual capacity of 1 million tons, has expanded its production capabilities to 2 million tons per year.
