As the leading higher education institution in the country, the Magtymguly Turkmen State University announces the start of the 2026/2027 admission campaign for specialist, bachelor's, and master's degree programs.

Fields of Study The university trains specialists in numerous fields, including mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, geography, history, psychology, philology, journalism, law, political science, and theology. Bachelor's programs in pedagogy and social work are also available.

Master’s Degree Opportunities The university is accepting applications for a master's program in "Pedagogical Education (pedagogy and psychology of education)." These studies are conducted on a fee-paying basis.

Document Submission Documents are accepted from July 13 to July 26, 2026, in regional centers and Ashgabat. Candidates must submit an application to the rector, a questionnaire, the original educational document, a medical certificate, a character reference, photos, a certified copy of the employment record (if applicable), and copies of their passport and military ID.

Entrance Exam Schedule Exams are held in Ashgabat according to the following regional schedule:

  • Ashgabat and Arkadag: July 29–31, August 1;
  • Mary velayat: August 2–5;
  • Balkan velayat: August 6–8;
  • Dashoguz velayat: August 9–12;
  • Ahal velayat: August 13–16;
  • Lebap velayat: August 17–19. Master's degree exams will take place on August 18–19. Exams are oral and held in the state language. Failure to appear at the scheduled time or failing any subject disqualifies the candidate.
