The National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahat of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow inspected the work being carried out at the final stage of construction of the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology in the northern part of Ashgabat. This was reported in the "Watan" news broadcast.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People got acquainted with the projects displayed in the center's foyer. Here, world-renowned medical professors from Germany, participating in the acquaintance event with the construction of the International Scientific and Clinical Center and the level of equipment of the complex's buildings, provided information on the characteristic features of the equipment shown in the visual project models and their capabilities related to the prevention and treatment of oncological diseases. During the conversation with the guests, the National Leader of the Turkmen People noted that Turkmenistan maintains effective cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency in the fields of healthcare and oncology.

Among the projects on display were visual models and placement layouts for the advisory, functional diagnostic, radiation diagnostic, analytical intellectual unified digital system modules, endoscopy, adult outpatient hematology, general radiation therapy, rehabilitation-dermatology, scientific and clinical pediatric outpatient hematology, radiopharmaceutical production department, and other specialized rooms, along with the equipment installed in them.

Emphasizing that due attention should be paid to the equipping of the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology and the effective use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, the National Leader of the Turkmen People stated that this work should be approached from the perspective of today and the future. Afterwards, Hero-Arkadag acquainted himself with the departments of the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology. The National Leader of the Turkmen People noted that with the opening of the center, the work of its departments should be properly organized, and these efforts must look far into the future.
