An opening ceremony for the new complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi took place in the city of Turkmenabat, Lebap Region. This was reported by the Lebap.biz website.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the regional khokimiyat and public organizations, professors and teachers, students, respected elders, and representatives of the general public.
During the event, participants watched a digital broadcast of the speech by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov from the special rostrum of the new building complex of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute. With the permission of the Head of State, the opening ceremony of the new complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi was launched.
Broad opportunities have been created in the new complex for students to acquire modern knowledge and conduct research work. It houses a Museum of Ethnography and Archaeology, specialized classrooms, chemistry and biological laboratories, an electronic library, dormitories, and a sports facility.
During the opening ceremony, vehicles were presented to the institute on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan. In addition, certificates and awards confirming the higher education institution's achievements in international cooperation were presented.
Furthermore, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the TSPU named after Seyitnazar Seydi and the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University of Russia.
The commissioning of the new building complex will serve to further expand the educational, scientific, and international cooperation capabilities of the higher education institution.
