Preparations are continuing in the capital for the opening of a new Dental Centre equipped with modern digital medical technologies.

A new Dental Centre is planned to be commissioned in Ashgabat ahead of the professional holiday of healthcare workers.

In addition to dental services, the new centre is intended to provide specialised medical care in the field of maxillofacial surgery. The centre plans to introduce modern treatment methods in cooperation with leading foreign clinics.

The medical centre has been equipped with modern equipment manufactured in Germany, Japan and the United States. One of its key features is the integration of artificial intelligence systems and 3D scanning technologies into medical practice.

Artificial intelligence technologies make it possible to quickly analyse large volumes of data, determine the optimal locations for implant placement with high precision, and reduce the risk of errors during complex surgical and reconstructive procedures.

The centre plans to consolidate patient information in electronic form. Computer systems in the treatment department will make it possible to establish online communication with operating rooms, as well as exchange information with other medical institutions and foreign partners.

The dental laboratory of the new centre is designed for 45 specialists and is equipped with CAD/CAM systems, as well as specialised equipment for the automatic printing and cleaning of 3D models. These technologies will make it possible to produce complex and individually designed prostheses from high-quality materials within a short period of time.

The Dental Centre will include an admissions department with rooms for round-the-clock emergency care, radiology, endoscopy, functional diagnostics, anaesthesiology and intensive care departments, an operating and sterilisation complex, as well as an inpatient department.

The centre’s technical capabilities will allow it to perform a wide range of medical procedures, from early diagnosis and safe anaesthesia to complex orthodontic treatment, implantation and reconstructive surgery of the maxillofacial region.

After familiarising himself with the equipment of the centre’s departments and the conditions created for patients, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed that the facility be fully prepared for its ceremonial opening on the occasion of Healthcare Workers’ Day. The Head of State emphasised that innovative capabilities such as artificial intelligence should serve the interests of the population, while high-tech equipment must be properly operated only by professionally trained and qualified personnel.
