On September 3, 2026, a new composition of the government of Kazakhstan was formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Oljas Bektenov.

Thus, on August 31, Oljas Bektenov was reappointed to the post of Head of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan by a Decree of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He has held this position since February 6, 2024.
