New Steps in Turkmen-Turkish Business Relations
On May 1, 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Türkiye, Mekan Ishangulyyev, held a meeting with the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. The core of the talks focused on opportunities to elevate trade and economic cooperation between the two brotherly nations to a new level.
During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to the importance of diversifying business relations, taking into account the conditions of the modern global economy. In particular, views were exchanged on consistently increasing trade turnover and intensifying investment projects.
