Meanwhile, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a working visit to attend the informal summit of the heads of state of Central Asia — Azerbaijan.

The new golf club is located on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, within the territory of the multi-profile tourist complex "Issyk-Kul Golf Resort". The total area of this complex is 120 hectares, of which 103 hectares are occupied by the golf club. The implementation of the project is of great importance in attracting tourists to the Issyk-Kul region not only during the summer months, but also in other seasons of the year. Thus, a playground has been created here that allows playing golf for 10 months of the year.

An 80-seat hotel is also at the disposal of guests within the territory of the complex. In addition, it is planned to establish a golf academy here and host competitions of various levels. Combining tourism, sports, and health facilities, this place will feature, besides the golf club, several four- and five-star hotels, restaurants, and landscaped coastal zones.

The Heads of State who attended the opening ceremony took a tour of the "Issyk-Kul Golf Resort" complex and participated in a symbolic ceremony organized on the occasion of the start of the game of golf here.
