From 18 to 22 October 2026, FIFA held its “Women in Football Leadership” training programme in Rabat, Morocco. A representative of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan also took part in the international event.

The programme aimed to develop women’s leadership skills in football, enhance their professional qualifications, and expand their involvement in the management of sports organisations.

The training sessions placed particular emphasis on developing leadership qualities, building effective communication, improving management skills, and making strategic decisions. Participants also discussed ways to strengthen women’s representation in leadership positions within football organisations.

The programme also provided participants with opportunities to exchange international experience, develop professional networks, and strengthen cooperation in the football sector.
