Traditional school markets will officially begin operations across Turkmenistan on August 1. This announcement was made during a digital Cabinet of Ministers meeting by Deputy Prime Minister N. Atagulyyev, who reported on ongoing preparations to organize the trade and sales of school goods ahead of the upcoming academic year. According to the "Watan" news broadcast, comprehensive measures are underway to ensure an abundant supply of essential goods for students and youth. The designated trade points will offer a wide array of educational supplies, stationery, and locally produced textile items to the population. The Deputy Prime Minister proposed launching these specialized school sales across all regions, districts, as well as in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, starting August 1. Listening to the report, President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of studying public demand for various school products and organizing mobile trading points to facilitate thorough preparation for the new academic year. The Head of State fully supported the proposed initiative and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to oversee the prompt and effective execution of these preparations.
