A total of 14 transactions were registered during last week's trading sessions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan purchased textile products, cotton fabric, cotton yarn, cotton fiber, and raw silk for foreign currency. The total value of the transactions exceeded US$4.755 million.
For the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene produced by the Turkmennebit State Concern, Portland cement, licorice root extract, cotton yarn, cotton lint, and purified cotton waste, with the total value of purchases amounting to 511.698 million manats.
