State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan announces student admission for the 2026/2027 academic year
The State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan announces the start of its 2026/2027 admission campaign for programs in the cultural and artistic sectors.
Fields of Study (Specialist programs):
- Budget-based: Monumental, easel, and miniature painting, easel and book graphics, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, and carpet weaving art.
- Fee-paying: Design, history and theory of fine arts, architectural environment design, restoration of architectural monuments, animation, and graphic design.
Document Submission Applications are accepted from July 13 to July 26, 2026, at the Academy building in Ashgabat. Candidates must submit their independent artistic works (drawings, paintings, sculptures, etc.).
Entrance Exam Schedule (held in Ashgabat):
- Date: July 29 – August 3, 2026. Exams include creative tests (drawing: plaster figure/portrait, still life), project execution, and an oral exam on the History of Turkmenistan.
