The State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan announces the start of its 2026/2027 admission campaign for programs in energy, mechanical engineering, electronics, and information technology.

Fields of Study (fee-paying basis):

  • Energy: Electric power systems, thermal power plants, gas turbine installations, alternative and renewable energy sources, energy-saving technologies.
  • Technical and IT systems: Automation, information security, infocommunication technologies, software engineering, information-measuring engineering.
  • Mechanical Engineering and Economics: Metal processing, economics and management in the energy sector, accounting and auditing.
  • English-taught program: Information security management (1 year language training +Β 4 years of study).

Document Submission Applications are accepted from July 13 to July 26, 2026, in regional centers and Ashgabat (at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute).

Entrance Exam Schedule (held in Mary):

  • Mary velayat: July 29 – August 1;
  • Ahal velayat: July 31 – August 2;
  • Ashgabat and Arkadag cities: August 1–3;
  • Dashoguz velayat: August 2–4;
  • Balkan velayat: August 3–5;
  • Lebap velayat: August 4–6. Exams are oral and held in the state language on physics, mathematics, and the History of Turkmenistan (for the English-taught program: mathematics, English language, and history).
