Students of the Agrarian Higher Educational Institution of Uzbekistan Completed an Internship in Turkmenistan

Representatives of the National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" of the Republic of Uzbekistan have successfully completed their professional internship in Turkmenistan.

This event was organized between May 16 and June 1 of this year within the framework of the bilateral Cooperation Agreement between the National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" of Uzbekistan and the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov.

The professional internship program was attended by 19 students and 2 lecturers from the Uzbek agrarian higher education institution. The foreign guests visited several large enterprises belonging to the agricultural and water management sectors of Turkmenistan. In particular, they got closely acquainted with the operations of the "Hydropark" water pumping station and the "Obahyzmat" production enterprise in the Ak Bugday etrap. In addition, the specialists and students from Uzbekistan actively participated in lectures and practical classes organized by the professor-teaching staff of the TAU named after S.A. Niyazov.

Cultural activities were also included in the itinerary of the visit. Representatives of brotherly Uzbekistan took excursions to the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the State Central Botanical Garden, as well as the "Tashkent" park in our capital.

The delegation of Uzbekistan expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their Turkmen colleagues for the excellent conditions created for exchanging scientific and educational experience, as well as for the warm hospitality shown.

Within the framework of the scientific-humanitarian cooperation established between the two higher education institutions, a reciprocal visit of lecturers and students from the TAU named after S.A. Niyazov to the Republic of Uzbekistan for an internship is planned in the near future.
