Study Opportunities in Japan: Applications Open for 2027 "MEXT" Scholarship Program
The Government of Japan has announced the start of the application process for the "MEXT" (Monbukagakusho) state scholarship program for the 2027 academic year. This program opens a broad path for talented Turkmen youth to study at leading universities in East Asia.
Candidates can apply for one of the following categories based on their educational background and interests:

- Undergraduate Student: For high school graduates seeking higher education.
- College of Technology Student: For those interested in technical and engineering fields.
- Specialized Training College Student: For youth wishing to develop practical vocational skills.
Citizens of Turkmenistan must submit their documents to the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan.
Application period: From May 1st to May 26th, 2026.
