
Yesterday, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan. The heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries discussed the current state and future prospects of interstate relations.
During the conversation, along with reviewing priority areas of bilateral cooperation, the diplomats exchanged views on important regional and international issues. The parties reaffirmed the strategic nature of the mutually beneficial partnership.
Special emphasis was placed on relations within the international arena, particularly cooperation in the framework of prestigious international organizations, major forums, and diplomatic meetings. It was noted that both countries are ready to support each other's international initiatives.
