
According to the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, as of February 1, 2026, the total balance of loans issued in the country exceeded 100 billion manats. Significant growth was noted particularly in lending to the non-state sector and the public.
As of February 1, 2026, the total amount of loan balances provided by credit institutions of Turkmenistan to enterprises, organizations, and the population in national currency reached 100 billion 048.06 million manats. As of February 1, 2025, the total amount of loan balances was 90 billion 540.48 million manats. This was reported in the electronic magazine "Bank News" published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
On February 1, 2026, the volume of loan balances provided to state-owned enterprises and organizations reached 48 billion 518 million manats. By the same date in 2025, this figure was 50 billion 380 million manats.
Additionally, as of February 1, 2026, the amount of loan balances provided to non-state enterprises and organizations reached 20 billion 194 million manats. On February 1, 2025, the total amount of these loan balances was 14 billion 802 million manats.
During the reporting period, the total volume of loans provided to citizens and individual entrepreneurs amounted to 31 billion 336 million manats. As of February 1, 2025, the total amount of loan balances reached 25 billion 359 million manats.
