The President signed the Resolution on compiling the State Budget for 2027

Guided by the Programme of Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022–2028 and in accordance with the Budget Code of Turkmenistan, the President of Turkmenistan signed the relevant document with the purpose of timely preparation of the drafts of the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2027, the main directions of socio-economic development of the country, and the investment programme. This was reported in the "Watan" news program.

According to the document, the Ministry of Finance and Economy is instructed to:

• organize the work on preparing the drafts of the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2027, the main directions of socio-economic development of the country, and the investment Programme, and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers by November 1, 2026;
• send calculation forms and methodological guidelines for preparing the drafts to ministries, departmental management bodies, and the hyakimliks of the velayats, Ashgabat and Arkadag cities by June 1, 2026;
• establish a working group for the preparation of the drafts and effectively organize its operations.
