
A Turkmen working group consisting of the Vice-Rector of the International University for the Humanities and Development, and representatives from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan, participated in a strategic session titled "Qualified IT Personnel: A Key Factor in a Competitive Economy and Sustainable Development." The event was held at the "School 21" campus in Kazan under the patronage of Sberbank.
"School 21" is a programming and digital technology school supported by Sberbank. Its educational model is based on advanced methodologies and a practice-oriented approach, where participants acquire programming skills through collaboration and real-world projects. The project aims to train in-demand IT specialists and develop the human resource potential of the digital economy.
The delegation's working visit began with a tour of the "School 21" campus. Julia Vershinina, the head of the "School 21" educational project in Kazan, shared her experience in implementing an innovative model for training highly qualified personnel for the IT industry. The presentation explored the key approaches of the project's educational concept and its role in developing a modern workforce for the digital economy.
Following this, the Turkmen delegation presented best practices from Turkmenistan's professional education system. It was noted that the country's vocational education system has made significant progress in digitalization and the integration of modern information and communication technologies into the educational process. Highlighted practices included the widespread use of electronic educational platforms that provide access to digital resources and facilitate the development of distance learning.
During the visit, the Turkmen delegation was also introduced to the activities of the Bashir Rameev Technopark, one of the leading innovation centers in the region. Guests had the opportunity to learn about advanced projects and technologies implemented by the technopark's staff and evaluate indicators of scientific and technical cooperation.
The parties emphasized the significance of the technopark as a robust platform for knowledge exchange, stimulating innovation, and strengthening international cooperation in the field of science and technology.
The Turkmen delegation's working visit to Kazan was an important step in strengthening international cooperation in IT and digital technologies. Highlighting the advanced educational experience of "School 21" and the capabilities of the Bashir Rameev Technopark, the delegation stressed the importance of training highly skilled specialists for a competitive digital economy.
