Turkmen Entrepreneurs to Visit London: New Horizons for Cooperation
Business representatives from Turkmenistan are preparing for a strategic visit to London, the capital of the United Kingdom, in May this year. According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the visit will take place between May 9 and May 16, 2026.
This business trip is organized following a special invitation from the West London Chamber of Commerce of the United Kingdom. The primary goal of the visit is to establish direct relations between the private sectors of the two countries and to attract British investment into the Turkmen market.
During the London visit, Turkmen and British sides will discuss new projects in several key sectors:
- Textile Industry: Expanding the export of high-quality Turkmen cotton products to the UK market.
- Agriculture: Implementing modern agricultural technologies and exchanging expertise.
- Construction and Architecture: Utilizing British design and engineering solutions in urban development.
- Education and Tourism: Strengthening international cooperation in education and introducing Turkmenistan's tourism potential to British travelers.
Economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom shows steady growth. According to statistics, from September 2024 to September 2025, the trade turnover between the two countries reached 102 million GBP. The upcoming London visit is expected to further boost these figures and encourage the creation of new joint ventures.
