
Turkmen academic excellence continues to shine on the global stage. Representatives of Turkmenistan’s youth secured an impressive haul of one silver and three bronze medals at the prestigious 58th International Chemistry Olympiad, held in Tashkent from July 10 to July 19.
According to the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the global intellectual contest brought together 363 elite schoolchildren representing 92 countries worldwide. Turkmenistan was proudly represented by a dedicated squad of young scientists from the Saparmyrat Turkmenbashy Specialized Boarding School-Intramural in Ashgabat.
Following rigorous theoretical and practical evaluations, 11th-grade student Palwan Ilmammedov earned a brilliant silver medal. Meanwhile, the bronze accolades were secured by 12th-grade students Diyar Dovletov, Aylar Orunova, and Rustem Jumayev. This monumental achievement underscores the exceptional standard of science education and rigorous preparation fostered within the nation's specialized academic institutions.
