Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports announces student admission for the 2026/2027 academic year
The Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports announces the start of its 2026/2027 admission campaign for programs in sports training, management, and journalism.
Fields of Study (Specialist programs):
- Budget-based: Sports (by sport disciplines).
- Fee-paying: Physical Culture, Sports Journalism, Rehabilitation work, Technical support of sports technologies, Management of sports facilities, and Sports Psychology.
Document Submission Applications are accepted from July 13 to July 26, 2026, in regional centers and Ashgabat (for Ashgabat and Arkadag cities). Athletes must provide a booklet confirming their I sports category and a recommendation from their sports school.
Entrance Exam Schedule (held in Ashgabat):
- Ashgabat and Arkadag cities: July 29–31, August 2;
- Ahal velayat: July 30, August 1 and 3;
- Balkan velayat: August 4, 6, 8;
- Dashoguz velayat: August 5, 7, 8;
- Lebap velayat: August 9, 11, 13;
- Mary velayat: August 10, 12, 13. Exams include physical fitness or sports skill tests, as well as oral exams in biology, history, Turkmen language and literature, or mathematics (conducted in the state language).
