
Turkmen students won a respectable 3rd place in the final stage of the "Huawei ICT Competition 2025–2026," held in Shenzhen, People's Republic of China.
In this major international competition, which saw the participation of over 1 million 180 thousand students and teachers from more than 100 countries, the youth of our country demonstrated their high level of education and technical proficiency.
Participants: Shirmuhammet Wepayev, Chief Specialist at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, Arslan Italmazow, a student at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, and Yslam Hayytmuhammedow and Gurban Orazmammedow, students at the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev.

Challenge: The final stage of the competition included an eight-hour complex practical exam conducted in laboratory conditions. During this time, the students solved critical tasks related to designing corporate networks, ensuring their security, optimizing network configurations, and troubleshooting architectural failures.
The fact that Turkmen youth secured 3rd place in such a large-scale and prestigious international competition is a global recognition of the work being carried out in our country to develop the digital system and nurture highly qualified specialists.
