
Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat noted that the main goal is to increase the Turkmen-Turkish trade turnover to 5 billion US dollars in the near future. He announced this during his speech at the Turkish Export Products Exhibition being held in Ashgabat.
Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat, who arrived in Ashgabat for a visit within the framework of the Turkish Export Products Exhibition, met with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Noker guly Atagulyyev.
Ö. Bolat reported on the meeting on his social media page:
"Within the scope of our visit to brotherly Turkmenistan, we held a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Mr. Noker guly Atagulyyev. We agreed to focus specifically on trade and economic sectors with Turkmenistan, including the organization of and participation in mutual exhibition events, investment forums, sectoral panels, and the organization of bilateral business meetings," the Turkish Trade Minister writes.
It was noted that during the meeting, the parties agreed to work together to further advance relations between the two countries in all areas of the economy, from trade to construction, joint investments to energy, and transport to tourism.
