On July 27, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat hosted the opening of the Turkmen-Uzbek Business Forum, marking another significant milestone in Central Asian economic integration. The opening ceremony featured welcome addresses by Azat Nazarov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, and Ravshanbek Alimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan.
The forum's agenda primarily focuses on key prospects for bilateral cooperation in the construction and industrial sectors. Representatives from Turkmen state agencies and leading Uzbek manufacturers of building materials and industrial machinery are presenting strategic opportunities for joint projects. Following the plenary and sectoral sessions, targeted B2B and B2G bilateral meetings are scheduled to finalize commercial agreements and foster direct partnerships between the private sectors of both nations.
