Under the leadership of the esteemed President and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, large-scale work is being carried out in our country to ensure that the younger generation grows up as educated, broad-minded, and competitive specialists. Systematic efforts to identify the natural talents of youth, encourage them in scientific research, and prepare them for international subject competitions yield proud results year after year.
In this regard, over the past decade, members of Turkmenistan's national team have won a total of 33 medals at International Chemistry Olympiads — 1 gold, 12 silver, and 20 bronze medals. These achievements are clear evidence of the wide opportunities created at the state level for youth to acquire modern education, showcase their talents, and represent our country on international platforms. The state-level rewarding and honoring of winners of international subject Olympiads inspires them to achieve new labor victories.
The next clear example of this was the 58th International Chemistry Olympiad held in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, from July 10 to 19, 2026. In this prestigious competition, the talented youth of Turkmenistan demonstrated high-level preparation, won a total of 4 medals, and raised the flag of our country high. The encouraging results shown by our students once again proved that the successes of our Motherland in the field of science and education are recognized globally.
