Turkmenabat Secondary Medical School announces student admission for the 2026/2027 academic year
Turkmenabat Secondary Medical School continues to train specialists for the country's healthcare system. The preparatory phase for entrance exams for the 2026/2027 academic year has begun for residents of the Lebap velayat who wish to enroll.
Majors and study conditions The school admits candidates for the following areas:
- On a budget basis: Nursing.
- On a fee-paying basis: General Medicine and Nursing.
Admission is based on a competitive basis for citizens of Turkmenistan who permanently reside in the Lebap velayat, hold a secondary general education certificate, and are no older than 35.
Submission of official documents Official documents are accepted from July 13 to July 26, 2026, in the city of Turkmenabat. Candidates are required to submit the following:
- An application addressed to the director;
- A questionnaire (form) according to the established sample;
- The original document confirming education;
- A medical certificate in the format established by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry;
- A character reference from the last place of study or work;
- Eight 3x4 cm photos;
- A certified copy of the employment record book (for those currently employed).
Candidates must also present their passport and military service record (or certificate of military registration) and provide copies. Winners of state competitions and participants of international contests must present the original supporting documents.
Entrance exams Entrance exams will be held on July 29-30, August 1-2, and August 4, 2026. The exams are held in the state language on the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, and the History of Turkmenistan. To determine the candidates' aptitude for their chosen profession, they will be introduced to the work of a pathology department.
Please note that candidates who do not appear at the scheduled time or fail any of the subjects will not be allowed to proceed to the next stages of the competition.
