
On April 24, 2026, a "round table" meeting dedicated to the glorious 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence was held in the Magtymguly Pyragy auditorium of the Sokhumi State University in Tbilisi, Georgia. This event, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia, focused on the current state and future of scientific, cultural, political, and economic relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia, D. Seyitmammedov, highlighted the great achievements and socio-economic reforms of the country during the years of Independence. Participants discussed the strategic role of transit corridors connecting Asia and Europe through the Caspian and Black Seas, which elevates regional economic cooperation to a new level.
